Sketchpads, paints and easels in hand, you’ll wander the islands, painting what moves you - colorful rooftops, quaint harbors and island landscapes of timeless Croatia.
You'll experience the allure that has drawn adventurers to the Adriatic throughout history - the Venetians, Turks, Ottomans, Greeks, Romans, Slavs and Europeans - and discover the architectural and cultural influences they left behind.
Capture the Soul of the Adriatic
Our Painters' Workshop & Sail touches all the senses as you immerse yourself in the true Croatia – traditional family owned konobas (restaurants) accessible only by boat, the sailing tradition and stunning sea, land and skyscapes of the Adriatic.
The Croatian crew know the secrets of the Adriatic Coast and make sure you have plenty of painting, drawing and relaxing time for sea, nature, village life, Dalmatian cuisine and wines, and local color.
Tempt Your Inner Creativity
Jessy teaches students of all ages and levels new techniques in oil and water color and to feel the beauty of painting. She is a premier artist in Croatia and has been instructing and influencing artists for 10 years.
Jessy was born and trained as an artist in Korea, where she graduated with honors from the Fine Arts Academy in Seoul, one of the top art schools in Asia. She was honored as one of the most talented artists in her class.
Jessy works mainly with large scale landscapes and still life in oil on canvas. She also paints and teaches water color. She currently has several exhibits in Zagreb and has been featured in European documentaries, press and media.
Each day we sail to a new destination for painting opportunities and experience the exhilaration of sailing aboard the beautiful Fortuna sailing schooner.
You’ll spend 7 days and 6 nights sketching and painting the Fortuna under sail, the unique sun, sea and starscapes of the Adriatic and the unspoiled Croatian island life. After sunset you’ll gather around the table for authentic Dalmatian food, critique of the day’s work, one-on-one instruction and lots of great conversation.
Each evening you’ll moor in a different secluded bay, sleepy village or lively harbor.
We leave plenty of spare time to relax on the sun deck, explore on your own, have fun with the kayaks or even go water skiing.
