Immerse yourself in the rich culture and sailing traditions of Croatia, following the trail of the ancient Greek and Roman voyagers.  Meander the coastal islands, unspoiled villages & boutique wineries.  Visit ancient monasteries, medieval walled towns, UNESCO historical sites,  with the comfort and ease of living on-board with spacious cabins, on-board chef, full crew and specially selected wines.

You’ll moor in out of the way places, sail into small harbours, visit island villages and stop to enjoy the spectacular hidden bays, swimming & sea the Adriatic is famous for. Your culture and wine tours are arranged for you privately as well as special meals on board and at the wine estates and cellars.

7 Day Traditional Villa Experience

Your Croatian Wine Renaissance Istria holiday is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in local Istrian wine traditions, cuisine and bucolic Istrian lifestyle. You’ll visit wine estates, family wineries and garage wineries in the most famous wine producing areas of Istria – Poreč, Buje, Pula and Rovinj in the west, the central hill towns around Buzet and Pazin & the eastern vineyards near Labin.

Your private tour includes:

  • 7 day stay at one of our Istrian Wine Estate Villas
  • 4 days of Wine & Culture Tours.  For each tour you will be picked up at your villa and visit 2+ wineries or wine tasting cellars and local historic sites and hill towns or historic ports
  • Local cuisine, olive oil tasting and sampling of local specialties such as Istrian truffles, Prsut, cheeses on each tour
  • Private chef for breakfasts (daily) and dinners at the villa

14 Day Sailing Journey between Split & Dubrovnik

Historically, Croatia has been a lively corridor between east and west. The architecture and cultural influences of the Greeks, the Romans, the Venetians, the Austro-Hungarian empire, the Turks and the Ottomans is evident throughout the land.

One of our favorite Istrian wine makers, Ivica Matosevic, gets to the heart of the Croatian experience, culture & tradition:
